Saltdean Lido CIC in a not for profit community company and receives no grants or subsidies for the running and maintenance of the Lido site. By becoming a Friend for just £15, your subscription will help us to preserve Saltdean Lido for the benefit of our community and our future generations.

By becoming a Saltdean Lido Friend you will be helping us achieve our goals:

  • ​​To restore and manage the upkeep of Saltdean Lido

  • To help provide sporting, recreational and community facilities

  • To advance the education of Saltdean Lido, the Lido movement and Saltdean’s history

  • To help provide a community outreach programme in cooperation with other community groups

  • To create opportunities for volunteering and employment for local residents.

This is an exciting time in the Saltdean Lido story and we want you to be a part of it​

Whether you have expertise to share or want to become part of a friendly dedicated hands-on team we have roles for everyone. We welcome volunteers from many different backgrounds, strengths, and abilities.

 

We value our community of local volunteers and strive to create an open and welcoming environment for them to grow and gain insight into this project.

 

With Saltdean Lido on the cusp of launching the newly refurbished Art Deco building it is a particularly exciting time to join us.

Are you a Personal trainer looking for somewhere to train your clients?

We have a new gym opening at Saltdean Lido in January 2024 and we would like to offer Local Personal trainers the opportunity to use our gym facilities for free.
