As an update, work is well underway to the external grounds with foundations in for the new plant room. We have also removed the mast to the main swimming pool. You can see the moment it is taken down here. We will keep you up to date with the building progress but our core focus is now on finalising our second stage HLF bid and working towards securing the final £2million which we require for the project.
Due to receiving funding for the external areas quicker than we expected we have taken the decision to commence works this month however the swimming pool will not re-open this year. We have around 9 months worth of work to do from building a new plant room to re-instating the pool back into one pool as well as landscaping to the grounds. The great news is that next Summer when we re-open the grounds/pool the water will be heated and it will be an amazing facility. Worth the wait...we hope you agree. We will be keeping you posted with developments of the build phase.

You will be voting to help us win £49,500 which will enable us to get the children's paddling pool open for next summer (2015). This would be an amazing boost to the project as we have secured funding for the main pool and it would be so sad to see the paddling pool still covered in stones. Back the lido, lets get the kids pool open.
